New Delhi: BJP national president JP Nadda released the party manifesto for Assam assembly election 2021. During this, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal and Minister of State Himanta Biswa Sarma were also present.

The BJP has mentioned 10 special points in the Assam manifesto. BJP has named '10 resolutions for Assam'.

What's in BJP Manifesto?

As a first resolution in the manifesto issued for Assam, it has been said that the Mission Brahmaputra will be started so that the life and property will be protected due to the annual floods. BJP has claimed that reservoir will be built to store more water of Brahmaputra and its tributaries. Along with this, the waste will be cleaned with special machines within the river from Dhubri to Sadia.

The BJP has promised to further empower the women of Assam as a second resolution. The BJP said that 30 lakh families will cover under the Arunodaya Scheme. Under this scheme, the monthly amount currently received will increase from Rs 830 rupees to Rs 3,000.

As a third resolution, BJP said that it will patronize Namghars and Satars. The party stated in the manifesto that a task force will form to reclaim the places of worship of tribals and tribal communities which will free these places from illegal encroachments.

NRC will come if BJP wins:

The NRC will be rectified as the fifth resolution by the BJP in its manifesto. So that Govt will provide security to Indian citizens. The BJP has said in its sixth resolution that we will limit ourselves to protect the political rights of the people of Assam.

The BJP has said as the seventh resolution that Assam Aahar Atmanirbhar scheme will start.
