Salman Khan House Firing Case: Shooters were promised Rs 4 lakh - Police

Police have detained a person from Haryana in the firing case outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartment (Salman Khan House Firing Case). The police is interrogating that suspect. Police investigation has revealed that both the shooters were in contact with him before and after the incident. Police also suspect that the detained person was acting as a contact point between Lawrence Vishnoi gang and the shooters. The police are now investigating his role in the crime. An officer said the suspect was related to one of the two arrested accused and they were in constant touch before and after the incident.

The officer said that it is suspected that the detained person was working on the instructions of Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. After the incident, Anmol Bishnoi had made a post on Facebook. Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, arrested for firing at Khan's residence in Bandra area here on Sunday, were giving detailed information about their activities to the detained suspect and the calls were made using the internet, the officer said.

According to the information revealed, shooter Sagar Pal was provided a gun a few hours before the firing outside actor Salman Khan's house. According to a police source, the pistol was supplied to the accused from Bandra area on the night of 13 April. However, the crime branch is still investigating who was the person supplying the gun. The police is trying to trace the person who had provided money to both Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta.

According to police source, both the accused were given 'supari' worth Rs 4 lakh. Initially Rs 1 lakh was given, it was decided to pay the remaining Rs 3 lakh after the completion of the work. On the morning of Sunday, April 14, firing had taken place outside Salman Khan's house. However, the shooters who fired are now in the custody of the police. While carrying out the incident, both the shooters had hidden their faces so that they could not be identified on CCTV. Both of them had taken off their helmets and worn caps, due to which their faces were captured in the nearby CCTV. However, he had left his motorcycle near Mount Mary Church. Mumbai Police got a lot of help from Aadhaar card in arresting both the accused.

Both the accused had also kept their mobile phones with them. In such a situation, with the help of CCTV and mobile phone details, the police came to know about a number from which calls had been made several times. With the help of that number, the work of the police became easier and by following the location of the number, the police found the number within 36 hours.
