After the first phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024, now voting will be held for the second phase on 26th April. After 5 seats in Maharashtra in the first phase, now in the second phase, voting will be held on 8 seats namely Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Yavatmal-Wasim, Hingoli, Nanded and Parbhani, here the fate of a total of 204 candidates will be decided. In the elections, there will be a contest on almost all the seats between Mahavikas Aghadi, the alliance of Shiv Sena Uddhav faction, Congress, NCP Sharad Pawar faction and the grand alliance of BJP, Shiv Sena faction, NCP Ajit Pawar faction. Huge campaign meetings are being held here, from PM Narendra Modi to Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, powerful meetings are being held. Somewhere Shiv Sena's Uddhav faction and somewhere PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah's reputation is at stake, meanwhile Vanchit Aghadi is in the field to spoil the game.

Amravati Lok Sabha seat was once represented by former President Pratibha Patil. Navneet Rana, who came into limelight with Hanuman Chalisa in front of former CA Uddhav Thackeray's house, is now in the fray on BJP ticket while senior Congress MLA Balwant Wankhede is to challenge her. Republican Sena's Anandraj Ambedkar is also in the fray with the support of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. For the first time, BJP is trying to plant the flag here with the help of Navneet Kaur Rana.

Akola Lok Sabha seat has always been in discussion. Here, BJP has been dominant for the last four consecutive times along with Congress and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi. This time again BJP has fielded Anup Sanjay Dhotre, son of Sanjay Dhotre, who became MP for four consecutive terms, while the Indian alliance has given ticket to Abhay Kashinath Patil of Congress to contest him. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's son Prakash Ambedkar has been MP from this seat twice, this time he is again in the fray and Asaduddin Owaisi is giving him full support. In such a situation, there is a triangular contest here. Akola has a rich agricultural tradition. This district is known for its abundant production of cotton and soybean.

Mahatma Gandhi built his ashram in Wardha, Maharashtra, which later became famous by the name of Sevagram. Congress had dominance here for a long time. But since 2014, BJP's Ramdas has been winning the elections from Tadas, for the third time again BJP has placed its bet on Tadas while Amar Kale from NCP Sharad Chandra Pawar faction has been fielded under the India alliance. For the first time in its history, Congress is not contesting Lok Sabha elections from this seat.
